Over the years our Benefit Committee has reviewed proposals from other brokers and the North Carolina State Flex Plan. We have not found any carrier that can match the service or prices provided by Wellington Benefits.

Wellington Benefits is a corporate general agency, and is constantly searching for the best products for our employees. Lincoln County School employees have never felt pressured to participate in the plan, or to “buy” policies, etc. Wellington’s goal is to educate the employees so that they are in a position to understand the various programs available to them. I consider them to be more of a partner than that of a vendor. Doug Faulk, along with his staff, have always been very professional and responsive to our needs. They are customer focused, and have also been very accommodating in taking care of our employee’s questions.

In a smaller school system such as ours, being Risk Manager and riding herd over the benefits program is just one of the many hats I wear.
